Tried & Tested: Gelli Worlds: Dino Pack

Dinosaur obsessed Bella got a special treat when she came home from Pre-School yesterday. I surprised her with a Gelli Worlds: Dino Pack and she was thrilled to bits. After being so impressed with Zimpli Kids products, I decided to treat Bella and with Amazon selling the kit half price, it was a no brainer.

The kit is so simple to use and it’s designed to be played with time and time again. Simply blow up the tray (this was the most challenging part because I’m currently under the weather), use a measuring jug and fill up with 3 litres of warm water, gently sprinkle the Gelli powder, mix with your hands for 5-10 minutes and voila, you’re ready to roar. I loved the fact that you get five packs of Gelli powder and you also get six dinosaurs and two trees, included in the kit.

I set it all up so that when Bella got home, she could get stuck in straight away. She had the biggest smile on her face when she first saw it and Flo was equally excited. So far Flo hasn’t been massively keen on messy play, but she enjoyed exploring the Gelli but quickly aborted play when things got a tad too messy.

Bella was kept entertained for over an hour and she kept running back to the kit throughout the day to have another play. When you’ve finished with the kit, simply scoop out some of the Gelli until your happy carrying the tray and tip it down the loo. It’s 100% biodegradable, so it won’t clog up the toilet.

The Gelli Worlds: Dino Pack is perfect for indoor messy play as all the mess is contained (mostly). If you’re kids are obsessed with Fairies & Unicorns, there is also a Gelli Worlds: Fantasy Pack. Check out their website there is lots of fun stuff to keep the kids entertained this February Half Term.
